C. Bryant Boydstun, Jr. is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled cases throughout the state of Florida for many years. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in St. Petersburg. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee (B.A. History with Honors ) and the University of Tennessee College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Tennessee, the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court. He is board-certified in civil trial by the Florida Bar and has tried over 150 civil jury trials to verdict.
Mr. Boydstun has served on numerous committees of both the Florida Bar and the St. Petersburg Bar Association. He is a member and Diplomate of ABOTA and is past president of the Tampa Bay Chapter. He has handled first-party insurance matters, personal injury litigation (including mass torts, serving as statewide counsel for a manufacturer in the asbestos litigation and handling several hundred cases in the silicone breast implant litigation), and commercial litigation. He currently focuses his practice on the defense of first-party insurance matters.
Mr. Boydstun has long been active in civic activities by serving on both city boards and the boards of local nonprofits, past president of the Kiwanis Club of St. Petersburg, and being a graduate of Leadership St. Pete and Leadership Florida.
