Taylor N. Chastang

Taylor joined Zinober, Diana & Monteverde, P.A. in 2021 as an Associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. She currently focuses on first party property litigation.

Before joining Zinober, Diana & Monteverde, P.A., Taylor worked at an AmLaw 200 law firm in the area of first party property litigation, where she handled breach of contract causes of action, bad faith allegations, and property claim disputes. Taylor also worked at another AmLaw 200 firm with international scope in the area of first party property litigation. Here, she worked closely with Lloyd’s of London as both litigation and coverage counsel, where she reviewed insurance contracts and issued coverage analyses.

Taylor is a graduate of The University of Alabama where she received her Bachelor of Science. Thereafter, Taylor obtained her law degree, graduating cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law. While attending law school, Taylor was very involved with litigation and advocacy programs. Taylor was President of the College of Law’s Mock Trial team, member of the VIS International Moot Court Team, member of the American Bar Association’s Negotiation Team, and member of the Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial Team. During Taylor’s third year of law school, she became the coach of the Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial Team. Additionally, Taylor received the Werner Melis Award – Honorable Mention for Best Respondent’s Brief for a VIS Moot Court Competition in Vienna, Austria. She also placed at the Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial Competition in Washington, DC. Further, Taylor studied abroad at Oxford University in England while studying international law and the origins of the American legal system.

As a former athlete, Taylor enjoys engaging in sports and being outdoors. She also enjoys being active in her community and spending time with her family and friends.
