Joseph Garcia
Biography
Joseph Garcia is an associate at Zinober Diana & Monteverde P.A. practicing in the general areas of third-party civil litigation. Before transitioning to civil defense, Mr. Garcia began his legal career at a plaintiff’s firm, where he focused on Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and auto negligence cases. He then expanded his practice to include a broad range of civil defense matters, including property damage, bodily injury, negligent security, premises liability, breach of contract, and subrogation at a large defense firm before joining Zinober Diana & Monteverde in 2025.
Mr. Garcia graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with dual Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminology. In 2017, he earned a Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law, where he excelled in the Juvenile Defense Clinic. Mr. Garcia also clerked for the Hon. Patricia Pedraza in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
With a well-rounded background in both the plaintiff and defense sides of civil litigation, Mr. Garcia brings a strategic and comprehensive approach to advocating for his clients. He is a South Florida native and enjoys relaxing on the beach and playing with his dogs, Rico and Luigi during his free time.
