Jonathan Riveras

Jonathan Riveras is an associate in Zinober Diana & Monteverde’s Ft. Lauderdale office, where he focuses his practice on insurance coverage; he represents insurance carriers throughout the state of Florida in first-party property insurance, as well as third-party auto/premise/general liability litigation.

Jonathan began his legal career at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted criminal cases on behalf of the State of Florida, including arguing dispositive pre-trial motions and conducting numerous criminal trials. Prior to joining Zinober Diana & Monteverde, Jonathan also advised and successfully represented insurers in coverage disputes at multiple large, international/national defense firms.

Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor from The Florida State University College of Law. He served as the Managing Editor of the Business Law Review during his tenure at Florida State. Additionally, Jonathan was a legal extern with the 2nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, as well as the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.
