Jonathan Riveras

Jonathan Riveras is an associate in Zinober Diana & Monteverde’s Ft. Lauderdale office where he focuses his practice on insurance coverage and first-party property insurance defense litigation; he represents insurance carriers throughout the state of Florida.

Prior to joining Zinober Diana & Monteverde, Jonathan advised and successfully represented insurers in first-party disputes at multiple large, international/national defense firms. Jonathan began his legal career at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted criminal cases on behalf of the State of Florida, including arguing dispositive pre-trial motions and conducting numerous criminal trials.

Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor from The Florida State University College of Law. He served as the Managing Editor of the Business Law Review during his tenure at Florida State. Additionally, Jonathan was a legal extern with the 2nd Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, as well as the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.
